This last week has been awesome, hard, lovely, exhausting, weird, CRAZY. I have been so far behind since I moved to Seattle. It has been a constant high speed run trying to grasp my goals, dreams and standards. It has not been easy by any means but I'm now a little more than half way(GASSSSP, sigh of relief)!!

I started working a part time job at a moving company so I could catch up and make some extra cash. As far as skills go the work is a cake walk because I did it every summer through high school and then some. However, there were a few things I forgot about...such as:

-You never know what kind of customer your going to get or what your going to have to pack up...the other day I picked up this jewelry box looking thing and said to the lady "Whats in here?" She replied "Oh, that's my husband." AHHHHH, then I packed some pics of him too and I felt like he was going to jump out of the box and wanna tango with me or something.

-You work on a dirty truck where your co-workers throw swear words around so much you start to daydream that your on a sail boat in the navy in the year 1942.

-When your done for the day your so tired that you feel like you ran a marathon.

-You work a 12 hour day just to go home and get out of bed like a sore zombie at 5am to do it all over again.

-Your fingers start looking all cut up like a crazy beast from outer space.

My room is almost finished being painted the most amazing spirit lifting tangerine, lavender and bright raspberry a woman could dream. It truly makes my heart SING! Now, I will be able to feel happy when I'm in my room this will motivate me to stay in and be a worker bee. I just want to stay home and make clothes and take photos. I don't want to have to pack up burnt dead people again.

My advice for the day, week, MONTH: If you find something that's "Good enough for now." Don't keep it around for long, work on the things that are "Good enough FOREVER."

First of all, I was totally caught off guard when The Tallest Man on Earth (Kristian Matsson) covered Paul Simon's Graceland! Paul Simon is one of my favorite musical artists OF ALL TIME. Not to mention, Graceland is one of my favorite songs.

He totally killed it and stole my heart at the same time!

It's going to be a SASQUATCH weekend.

The Tallest Man on EARTH.

The Mountain goats.

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeez, even more than I am thrilled about the festival...I am tickled to spend an entire FOUR day adventure with my girl! We have the best times together, never a dull moment. I know it sounds totally corny or like we are total lesbians...OR you just think we're weird. 

Well, your wrong. Nothing weird going on here...unless of course it's weird to find your soul mate in a completely platonic, same sex straight friendship. Then, HELL...we are the definition of WEIRD. Ever since we moved in together we have been spoiled with the best possible relationship one could dream of. When we first moved in with each other everyone warned us it might ruin our friendship...F that noise, from day one my biggest fear about living with Kristina is that someday....it might come to an end(of which we don't DARE speak of).

We fit together like a puzzle 

and, I love our love and I am thankful 

that someone actually receives the prize that was promised 

by all those fairy tales that drugged us.

Postsecret follow-up.

The postsecret event was just as I thought it would be...AWESOME! I met Frank warren and even though I was one of the last 20 people they let in, I got a front row seat because I went alone! See, there was a purpose for me to go alone. What a great night:)

Look out for new things in the shop this week! Lot's and lot's of vintage coming your way!

Postsecret in SEATTLE, WA.

I recently found out that Frank Warren of Post Secret will be speaking at Seattle University on Thursday! I almost jumped out of my chair and did a happy dance:)! They will be letting students in first THEN the general public. I am crossing my fingers that I get a spot before it fills up.

I am not quite sure why I am sooooo drawn to postsecret. Most people seem to relate to it because of something specific that happened to them. I however, don't really have anything specific I need help or healing with. I love it because it is helping so many young people around the world.

It is so important for people to let go of negative feelings and energy in their lives. Life is so short, fulfilling your dreams and loving yourself is KEY! The sooner you let go of something OR someone who is holding you back...the sooner you can start achieving your goals and dreams.
