BRAIN is thinking HALLOWEEEEEEEN...

First, I thought I'd be a Christmas present for Halloween. Then, I thought I'd be a black cat(Gators mom) for Halloween. Next, I changed my costume to a dead bride. As you can tell, I just couldn't settle on an idea. Until..DUN...DUN...DUN... I saw a funny picture of my 3 year old self painted like a clown at the puyallup fair. Kristina laughed and said "YOU ARE SO WEIRD. Any other 3 year old girl would pick a cat, a princess, a rainbow...but here's Melissa saying 'I want to be a clown!'" With that being said, a clown I will be!

Today, Kristina and I will be making our costumes(she is strawberry shortcake)! Although, I have purchased my costumes a few times in the past, I much prefer this approach. Here are some lovely Etsy-ers that have a creative costume mind as well! Let me just say that if I wasn't making my costume, I would be buying one of these.

Here are some dresses I have been making over the last couple of weeks. Kiari did a cute little shoot with me today. I should be uploading them onto my shop tomorrow and will continue to keep that project up now that Summer has left me once again. *SIGH* Time to stay inside and try and keep motivated...mostly by music and coffee. Cheers to the chilly Seattle weather!

The the year 23 was my biggest learning and growing year thus far. However, I have set a promise and a goal that 24 is going to be my most positive, productive and proud year I have ever had. I will grow more than ever and take my own and and any advice to heart. I will be the person I was made to be.
